WHO WE ARE
World of Learning Academy is a Broward County licensed Childcare Center located in the city of Sunrise Florida, for children age 12 months to School Age. With individualized attention, a nurturing environment and extracurricular activities, we provide everything your child needs to excel in their early-childhood education.
OUR TEACHERS
Our teachers are skilled professionals in early childhood education and received ongoing training to ensure each child receives the highest level of care. We follow state guidelines for classroom size ratios and provide a competitive curriculum for each age group.
WOLA BUILDS CHARACTER
Children take part in directed and self-directed learning activities that teach character values like positive self-esteem, respect, cooperation, patience, friendship, and much more.

- CURRICULUM
We are proud to offer high quality learning products. We have selected the very best curriculums to accommodate to each age. We follow Learning Beyond Paper which emphasizes the interests of the children, allowing them to take the lead and guide their learning. Many opportunities for choice and student responsibility are included throughout the activities.
- FACILITY
WOLA has been specially designed to meet the needs of children from Toddlers to School Age. Here your child will be in an age appropriate environment. All areas, including bathrooms, sinks, water fountains, and furniture are designed with every child in mind. Our outdoor area was designed to cater the children’s development as well as provide a source of joyful, healthy fun.
Each of the classrooms is setting up with learning centers. These centers include Literacy, Manipulative, Science & Discovery, Imaginative Play, Blocks, Creative Expression, and Music. The possibilities for learning are endless in these centers, as they are filled with age appropriate toys, games and activities to facilitate learning. Our daily routine includes Circle Time, Center time, Music and Movement, Snack, Outside Play, Lunch, Nap, Story Time and much more.
- COMMUNICATION
PARENT-TEACHER COMMUNICATION: Communication between your child’s teacher and you is fundamental in order to know how your child is doing. When your child is enrolled at WOLA he/she will receive a daily report in which your child’s teacher will fill out on a daily basis to let you know about their day.
PARENT BOARDS: Parent boards are located in each classroom near the classroom entrance with information about daily schedules, weekly lesson plans. Parent resources, newsletters, food menus, and general information will be located in the lobby at the main entrance of the school.
- ACCREDITATION
We are proud to say that WOLA is an accredited preschool. One of our priorities is to work together with the parents for the developmental benefit of the child. Accreditation standards give us the opportunity to do that with the self-assessment process which involves parents, staff and program management to provide a higher level of quality.
APPLE ACCREDITATION
APPLE Accreditation is a voluntary and self-directed process of continuous quality improvement. The goal of APPLE is to provide the necessary tools to Centers in order to assist them in implementing and maintaining quality early childhood education practices to benefit the children and families they serve. Many states provide additional incentives to encourage accreditation; however, the most important incentive is that by meeting accreditation standards, Centers have the opportunity to improve the health and safety of the children, improve learning outcomes through teacher interactions and research-based curriculum, and improve communication between staff, parents, and the community.
